Social Design

Artworks for Fashionclash

This series of textile artworks is commissioned by Fashionclash Maastricht for the project "Let's (ad)dress the people". The big scale artwork is made from a pop-up studio in the public library Centre Ceramique, during several craft workshops for senior people.

This social design project facilitates the senior community to gather, be creative and contribute to artworks for the public environment.

A graphical tangram pattern is crafted in several techniques and materials on a mesh base. The total artwork reaches over 25 meters and can be cut into separate modules.
